Hermana is an emotional companion platform powered by artificial intelligence, designed to offer a private space for reflection and listening.

Hermana is not a mental health service, psychological therapy, emergency service, medical device, nor does it replace the care of a health professional. The responses generated are produced by artificial intelligence and do not constitute medical, psychological, or legal advice of any kind.

The use of Hermana is reserved exclusively for people over 18 years of age. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this requirement. Hermana reserves the right to delete without prior notice any account that does not meet this condition.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your access credentials and for all activities that occur in your account. It is not permitted to share access with third parties or to create accounts on behalf of other people.

By using Hermana you agree to use the service lawfully and in good faith. It is expressly prohibited to attempt to violate or compromise the security or integrity of the platform, to use the service to harass, threaten, or harm other people, to impersonate identities or provide information with malicious intent, and to use the service for any purpose contrary to the law.

Hermana reserves the right to suspend or delete accounts that fail to comply with these conditions, without need for prior notification or resulting liability.

The content you generate within Hermana belongs to you. By using the service you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, and non-transferable license to process such content for the sole purpose of providing you the service.

We do not commercialize your content nor transfer it to third parties. We do not use it to train artificial intelligence models.

Hermana, its name, design, interface, persona, visual and textual elements are the exclusive property of its creators and are protected by applicable intellectual property legislation. Their reproduction, distribution, or use without express written authorization is prohibited.

The responses generated by the artificial intelligence are produced in an automated manner. Hermana does not guarantee their originality nor assumes responsibility for the use made of them outside the platform.

The service is provided in its current state, without express or implied warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Hermana will not be responsible for emotional, psychological, or mental health outcomes derived from the use of the service, interruptions or failures in the availability of the platform, nor for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages of any nature.

The above does not apply in cases of willful misconduct or gross negligence directly attributable to Hermana.

Hermana can recognize signs of distress in the conversation and offers guidance resources in those moments. However, it is not an emergency service and cannot guarantee an immediate response in situations of risk.

In any situation of immediate danger, call the emergency number of your country or go to the nearest care center.

Hermana reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the service, as well as to update these Terms, at any time and at its sole discretion. Material changes will be notified with reasonable advance notice. Continued use of the service after any modification implies acceptance of the Terms in force.

You may stop using Hermana at any time. To request the deletion of your account write to us at contacto@hermana.io. Hermana reserves the right to suspend or terminate the access of any user who fails to comply with these Terms, without prior notice or liability.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Mexican States. For any controversy arising from their interpretation or compliance, the parties submit to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Mexico City, waiving any other jurisdiction that may correspond to them.
