    1. Who we are

    2. What information we collect

    We collect two types of information independently:

    Profile information

    • –Data you provide when creating your account: name, date of birth, email address, and your usage preferences within the platform.

    Usage information

    • –Data generated during your interaction with the product, including the content of your conversations with Hermana, navigation events, and standard technical data such as browser and device type.

    3. How we protect and handle your information

    Your privacy is at the center of how we designed Hermana. That's why:

    Data dissociation

    • –Your profile information and the content of your conversations are stored in a dissociated manner. This means the content of what you share is not directly linked to your personal identity within our systems. No person inside or outside of Hermana can read the content of your conversations together with your name or contact data directly.

    Anonymization in analytics

    • –The data we use to understand and improve the product is processed in aggregated and anonymous form. We do not analyze identifiable individual conversations.

    No advertising

    • –We do not use your information for targeted advertising, nor do we sell it or transfer it to third parties for commercial purposes.

    No model training with your content

    • –The content of your conversations is not used to train artificial intelligence models.

    4. Who your information may be shared with

    To operate the service, we work with trusted technology providers in the areas of infrastructure, authentication, artificial intelligence, communications, and analytics. All of them are contractually obligated to protect your information and are prohibited from using it for purposes other than those strictly necessary to provide the service.

    We do not share your personal information with any third party beyond the above, except when required by competent authority or legal mandate.

    5. Security

    We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit and at rest, and restricted administrative access controls.

    No system offers absolute security. In the event we detect a breach affecting your personal data, we will inform you in accordance with applicable law.

    6. Data retention

    We retain your information for as long as your account remains active. If you request the deletion of your account, we will proceed to delete your personal information and the content of your conversations within 30 business days, unless the law requires us to keep certain records for an additional period.

    7. Your rights

    You have the right to access, correct, delete, and request the portability of your personal information. To exercise any of these rights, write to us at contacto@hermana.io. We will respond within a maximum period of 30 business days.

    Users in Mexico: This policy complies with the principles of the Federal Law on Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (LFPDPPP) and its Regulations.

    8. Minors

    Hermana is a service exclusively for people over 18 years of age. We do not intentionally collect information from minors. If you become aware that a minor has created an account, please notify us at contacto@hermana.io.

    9. Cookies and similar technologies

    We use cookies strictly necessary for the operation of the platform, such as keeping your session active. We do not use tracking cookies for advertising purposes.

    10. Changes to this policy

    We may update this policy when necessary. If the changes are material, we will notify you by email or through a notice on the platform with reasonable advance notice. The last updated date always reflects the current version.
